In October 2011 BBC4 hosted a Creation Records evening to celebrate the first TV showing of Upside Down, during that night they also showed a compilation of appearances by Creation bands on the BBC.

I was really sad to hear that Dale Griffin has died. The news comes only a week after the world lost David Bowie whom helped Dale’s band Mott The Hoople to success in the early 1970s.
