Minor Victories is the new band formed by Rachel Goswell of Slowdive, Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Justin Lockey of Editors alongside his brother James. After teasing us for several months they have finally unveiled details of their new album and tour.
The self-titled album is released on June 3rd and includes guest appearances by Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters/Sun Kill Moon alongside James Graham of the Twilight Sad.

Prior to the release of the album, Minor Victories have announced a handful of live dates in May. They play the following:

May 4th Thekla, Bristol
May 5th Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
May 6th Art School, Glasgow
The first track from the album to be released is A Hundred Hopes which you can see the video for below. Its great to hear Rachel taking lead vocals again on a track, if my memory serves me correctly this is the first time she has done this since her Waves Are Universal album in 2004.
