Rachel Goswell of Slowdive has announced she has formed a new group Editors’ Justin Lockey, Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite, and James Lockey of Hand Held Cine Club.
They are called Minor Victories and are currently working on their debut album which features a duet between Rachel and Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters and Sun Kill Moon.
I would like to suggest peeps follow @Minor_Victories a very exciting project I am involved in!

Although there’s no new music to share at this stage, for those of you who like your social media you can follow the band on Facebook or Twitter.
A statement from Justin Lockey posted on Pitchfork today states:
So there’s a record (like a real long player from back in the day) being made, a band being formed, noise being traded, analogies thrown around between Rachel Goswell (Slowdive) Justin Lockey (Editors) Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai) James Lockey (handheldcineclub). There’s some other people involved too but more on that later… For the time being, it’s sounding fucking class.
Below is one of the images posted on their Facebook page, a future sleeve perhaps? We shall see…
