Over 22 years after its release, Slowdive’s second album is the feature of a fantastic new documentary on Pitchfork.tv.
As we all know, Souvlaki is the one album that was totally overlooked upon release and over the following two decades its legacy has grown more than any other Creation album. Very little has been documented about the album in the past so it’s wonderful that Pitchfork have seized upon the opportunity to rectify the situation.
Featuring interviews with all of the band tracing their roots from Reading in the 1980’s until today, this is a must watch.
