The band appeared on many TV shows between 1990 and 1992 whilst promoting the Screamadelica and the accompanying singles. Below are a collection of those clips….
One of my favourites, on the Screamadelica tour the band always closed the set with a cover of The Stoogees’ No Fun. Here’s the band performing the track live on TV in 1992.
A rare performance on US chat show presented by Jimmy Miller, this time performing two tracks Movin’ On Up and Damaged.
Primal Scream performed Don’t Fight It Feel it on BBC arts programme The Late Show.
Taking everyone by surprise, Loaded became a big chart and saw the band on Top of The Pops in March 1990 with a certain guest appearance on keyboards for the show.
Movin’ On Up again as it became a big chart hit, this time on the chaotic late night show The Word.
The band also performed another track on the same show whilst promoting the Dixie Narco EP, this time they played Screamadelica whilst the closing titles rolled.
Snub TV gave huge exposure to music on national TV in the early 90’s and Primal Scream appeared on the show upon the release of Loaded.
Late night TV show Transmission interviewed Bobby upon the release of Loaded.
Finally as posted yesterday, Rapido ran a short feature on the band filmed during their Screamadelica tour.
