Many gigs from Creation’s bands are now considered legendary in certain circles so it’s great when some real treasures are unearthed and I’m able to share them.
Below is a compilation of recordings across the UK’s capital between 1987 and 1992. Included is:
- Biff Bang Pow! at the ‘Doing It For The Kids’ gig
- Ride recorded on their support slot with The Soup Dragons (which coincidentally was the night they agreed to released their debut EP with Creation)
- My Bloody Valentine touring Loveless
- Felt on their farewell tour
Then there’s several recordings from the dark and dingy backroom of the Camden Falcon, a venue I spent many nights in which wasn’t much bigger than my living room.
