Mark Gardener is not only on tour with Ride this year, he is also about to release his second album of 2015!

Pure Phase Ensemble is an international music collective created every year specially for the SpaceFest! festival in Gdansk, the 2014 festival had Mark Gardener of Ride and Ray Dickaty ex-Spiritualized as musical directors. Their performance at the festival is now available to buy as a CD or download.

You can listen to a track below and order the download immediately, the CD version is available from August 8th.

The album is certainly a lot more psychedelic/space rock than Mark’s recent sublime album with Robin Guthrie.
