With all the new activity from many of the bands recently, it is good to see this is slowly creeping back into the national charts.

Ride’s reissue of OX4 ‘The Best of_’ and The Jesus & Mary Chain’s ‘Psychocandy live at the Barrowlands’ have both entered the UK top 20 Vinyl Charts. Also in the charts is a repress of Dexy’s Midnight Runners’ third album ‘Don’t Stand Me Down’ that Creation re-released in 1997.

Obviously all of these releases are following Record Store Day. The vinyl charts was launched in the UK recently following the huge resurgence in vinyl sales.
