Following the news that Howard Marks has inoperable cancer, a concert has been announced to help him and his dependents through the treatment.
The gig will take place at Kentish Town Forum on February 27th, appearing alongside Howard Marks will be Cian and Bunf from Super Furry Animals and actor Rhys Ifans. More guests will be announced shortly.

Rhys Ifans, members of the Super Furry Animals, Greg Wilson and more of Howard’s favourite musicians will join him on stage for a one-off event at the Kentish Town Forum on the 27th February. The concert will help raise funds to see Howard and his dependents through his cancer treatment, set up a Mr Nice Foundation and complete the definitive documentary about Howard. Expect the unexpected.

Of course, Howard Marks is well known within Creation circles for appearing on the cover of Super Furry Animals’ 1996 debut album ‘Fuzzy Logic’ which also contained the track ‘Hangin’ with Howard Marks.’ You can hear the track below.
